Welcome to Hillside Garage, a small family-run business that has been serving Ilminster, Chard, Crewkerne, and the rest of the South West since 1962. With over 50 years of experience, we have built a reputation for providing excellent service and top-notch expertise in the automotive industry.

Our story began when John Gummer started the business, repairing and servicing cars on the site for 45 years. Later, his son Jamie joined the business, bringing with him 12 years of experience as a senior technician at a Volkswagen main agent. Today, Jamie and his brother Steve run the business, combining their mechanical skills and expertise to provide a fully equipped workshop that can handle any automotive problem.
